I'm Laura Adams, a surface pattern and textile designer living in eastern North Carolina - the heart of the textile industry. I've explored my love of pattern, color, and texture through a prolific career as a textile designer for prints and wovens, as well as in stationery and other products. I have a deep passion for encouraging others and spreading joy through my designs. I love to share my knowledge on all things creative and hope to inspire the next generation of creators.

My Work

I've spent nearly 30 years in the Contract/Commercial and Residential markets working with clients within all sizes of businesses. I've helped small companies get started, and large companies create designs that match their brand and lead to a healthy bottom line. I'm a jacquard wovens and prints expert and experienced with taking a product from initial concept to completion through creating original artwork, working with yarn vendors and mills, and making sure that the resulting product is not only beautiful, but passes testing standards. I'm also a color expert, and love to help clients reformulate products that have been successful in the past, but may need a color refresh to get the market excited again.
